    If this is what Gawker calls "Investigations" then it's clearly no better at hard news than John Cook's favorite targets. So the "reset button" story is three weeks old? Yeah, well the Drudge-Politico symbiosis story is two years old.

    The appalling thing is that people don't immediately recognize what Politico and Drudge do as hack reporting on a level with the National Enquirer. They generate output, and the cable news...er...mainstream media grab it because they're really, really fckng lazy.
