    Okay, I'm kind of in love with this guy. From [www.cnn.com] "Barrett described reports that the suspect's family blames Barrett for the arrest as 'pretty bizarre.' But he added, 'Maybe it's important that a mother's love is blind, and maybe a mother's love should be blind.'" The guy got beaten with a pipe and he stops to care how his assailant's mother feels. Wow.

    In the state of Wisconsin, if you encounter an unruly individual, there's a 93% that the individual is drunk. As mayor of Milwaukee, Barrett should have known this.

    seems pretty clear he's a stand-up guy, taking a beating for a stranger and all. and being humble and shifting praise onto others is what stand-up guys do. it's refreshing to see.
