Damn you, Lawson, you made the Alphie one Too Good. Hope you enjoy writing 27 drafts of this script, for $5 million dollars, until it's finally taken from you altogether and re-imagined by Alphie himself.

    Almost done with my latest...

It's based on the time I impaled my cousin Chuck's left thigh with a Lawn Dart.

@NinaHagen: If not followed by the smooth seduction of a full-bodied, bold and fruity, well-nuanced vintage swill of Elmer's all-purpose with the orange cap. Heaven.

I still think a three hour epic about Tootsie Roll Blow-pops would pack them in.

How long will it take Hugh Jackman to get to the center?

Coming soon: Jim Carrey as Trouble! (Tagline: "Trouble's fun for everyone!")

With Jenny McCarthy as "Six." ("Pop a Six and you move twice!")

How can they not re-make "Asteroids" or "Space Invaders"? Perfect for a movie - terrible graphics, but you can't stay away.

Did anyone else have this toy that looked like two tennis-ball-sized balls (actually glass, I believe) attached to string, connected at the top, that you clacked together to make noise? That got recalled for glass shards? Loved it - parents hated the loud noise. Memories.

@MisterHippity: Drawl that "Heyyyyyyy" with an establishing shot of gleaming washboard abs, add a "wocka wocka chicka bow wow" soundtrack and that's a $50 mil opening weekend.

It's suprising there hasn't been an MTV movie yet. I mean "movie" as in a behind-the-scenes look (did Mark and Martha ever GET IT ON ECK BLECK URGH) or warmly quirkly fictional bildungsroman of a staffer.

    Horrible idea, either way.
