    Still making my way through The Wire seasons one through five on dvd. I'll just say for the record that it's one of the greatest shows on television.

    @El_Gato: Not one of. It's the greatest show I've ever seen. And received exactly one Emmy.

    How many shows do you know where one character (Bubbles) has one swooping five season character arc? Truly poetry in motion.

    I'll watch the sixth season of PR begrudgingly but my heart belongs to Iman and PR Canada. I can't wait for Season 3 to come (someday soon, I hope). No one, and I mean no one, can eviscerate a designer with as much panache as Iman.

    Oh, I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who did these comparisons. I came up with different results though. I guessed that phot #1 goes with Althea , photo #3 goes with Shirin and photo #5 goes with Johnny. I'm willing to wait until the end to find out for sure.

    @OldTowneTavern: The collection for #1 had the dominatrix look of black leather (really shiny wool) that Althea is associated with. The collection for #3 is scattered yet some pieces require great skill which I associated with someone young yet well trained (good for "I was the best in my class" Shirin), and the collection for #5 was heavy on coats and "smocking" which lead me to Johnny, but come to think of it, there is a lot of black which Johnny doesn't do. So, I'm backing away from him.

    @wundersmack: Cross-hatched grill marks reminiscent of the tiny hamburgers in Campbell's Chunky sirloin burger with country vegetables soup?

    Padma on top of the meat grill marks = the most delicious condiment ever. Sort of a chutney/hot sauce mix perhaps?
