Americans Do Love Their Happy Pills, Don't They?
Use of anti-depressants in the U.S. doubled between 1996 and 2005 according to a new study, which found that 10% of the population, 27 million people, were prescribed anti-depressants in 2005. This, of course, is all Elizabeth Wurtzel's fault. [Reuters]
