I have a feeling that Harvey might get his way and turn this movie into another Thank You for Smoking that is another well praised movie that barely makes it onto the radar. Although Monique might still get an Oscar nod depending on when the movie is released.
Okay, usually I'm a snarkstress, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Mariah's performance in Glitter wasn't all that bad. But I agree the movie itself should have been called Shitter.
FYI - Benjamin Bratt has nothing to do with this movie. His film is LAmission, also shown at Sundance but is a very separate film from Push. You can verify this by accessing the link in your own story, above. yeesh.
@RhettNemesis: FYI, STV knows that Benjamin Bratt isn't in the film, as he and the other guys saw the originally-titled Push in Sundance, where they first reviewed it. STV was referencing Benjamin getting scared shitless by the movie, which prompted a story, which you can verify (and perhaps read) by accessing the link in the story above. Yeesh.
When Push finally does come out, we'll be able to read all the juicy news and b.o. numbers over at MOVIELINE.COM. You know, MOVIELINE.COM the hip new blog where STV, Seth, and Kyle will carry on the tone that DeGawkerWag has sold down the river. MOVIELINE.COM where all the cool kids will soon hang out.
