    I guess the fact that Tiger is also white and Asian is moot. If the same combination of ethnicities produced a Tiger with light skin, race wouldn't be an issue here. It's odd how genetics works.

    It's not even what he says anymore. It's not even the ridiculous things that come out of his mouth. It's not even that there are millions of people out there listening to him and shaking their heads in agreement. It's that there are radio stations out there who will give him air time to say this and will cringe if David Duke asks for a show on the same airwaves to espouse the same thing. How can Janet Jackson show a nipple for a split second and the FCC drops fines all over the place but he can say this all day long on the air and there's not a peep. Which is more dangerous to the public?

    When it comes to Limbaugh, the black state of mind really is terrible because most of us want to put our big black feet up his pasty fat ass. Funnily enough, that state of mind is also shared by many White, Latino, Asian, American Indian..... folks.

    I'm really curious about why Limbaugh has such a problem with the darkies. Is his dick really that small? Chances are good that the Costa Rican children he likes to fuck have some black blood, so maybe that has something to do with it.

    Rush will always be the outrageously, blatantly racist one. But I'm disappointed in Eugene Robinson, of whom I'm a fan. Tiger Woods doesn't have a "standard of beauty," he has a Type! My Type is the shaggy haired Jewish boy, and if that was all I ever dated, I'd be effing thrilled.

    @tigolbitties: Think of Nicole Ritchie for a moment....pale as the day is long. Black dad. Do you see anyone calling her out for marrying a white guy??? No one blinks an eye! No one insists on calling her Black, either. There is an inconsistency in how society views race. Realistically the only difference between her and Tiger Woods is skin tone (in terms of ethnic makeup, I mean).

    @jaxdesert: realistically the only difference is skin tone? and that tiger is asian and nicole is latina, but whatevs on that, it's just skin color... she was adopted by lionel richie, do a quick google about who her father is. anyway, read my comment asshat, i'm not calling tiger out for who he married, i couldn't care less. but i do think who he's chosen to sleep with is a bit deeper than i like girls with big boobs and blondes/brunettes - especially given his throwaway comment to a friend about how his wife went "ghetto" on him. i think that speaks volumes about why he sleeps with who he sleeps with...
    but we do agree on one thing, there are definitely inconsistencies in how we view race.

    @tigolbitties: Okaaayyy ok so she's adopted (I actually should know that--I am obsessed with the tabloids). My point can be made about anyone with mixed ethnic background: they are often knee-jerk labeled as Black, or Latino or whatever, whether or not they even identify with that ethnicity. I don't mind if they don't mind, but I do wonder if society has a subtle racism that makes someone an automatic "minority" if they have any other-ethnicity blood. Hence, I suppose there is pressure for those persons to identify with and support that ethnicity even if it is alien to them...?

    Well, I understand what Robinson is attempting to say, but I think he's looking at it too simplistically. Tiger does not consider himself a black man. Not as far as I've ever heard, anyway, despite his father's race. So he's attracted to the women he believes men of his stature should be attracted to...which really isn't beyond the frat boy aesthetic (hair, boobs, tiny, tiny, waist, small ass), which to me speaks more of his maturity level than his racial consciousness. His racial identity was never in debate, because those of us who were observant, knew his thoughts on that topic. So I'm thinking Robinson is trying to ascribe some sort of racial ownership to Tiger that just doesn't exist in his world. But more to the point, I think Robinson is an ass for basically saying, "Oh, the whole cheating thing...that's okay, just as long as it was with yellow and brown women." Dick.

    Limbaugh will always win my vote though, because as misguided as Robinson is, fucking nut-baggery of racist hoo-doo is not really his M.O.

    I've always considered Tiger's cheatin' type--i.e., obvious plastic surgery, immodest clothing, overdone hair, nails, teeth--to be a method on that person's part to send out the easy lay signal via obvious self-hatred. It's not that these women are particularly attractive, they just put out the signal that if you're lookin' for some, you won't have to chase. This "signal" has become so homogenized in our culture that it's laughable when you see how hard these women work to look like one another. So much for individuality and standing out in a crowd.

    @Spirit Fingers: Tiger is not black. His father was a mix of African, Chinese, and American Indian ancestery. So why would Tiger consider himself a black man? If anything, he should consider himself an Asian man.
