I can't tell if the comment above is sincere and I don't want to reply as that would improve its ranking, but I have to say that I love Shelley Duvall. She's goofily cute.
And she's wonderful in The Shining.
They can't all be plastic, look-a-like blonde human Barbies.
@1.1.1.: I just saw "The Shining" at the IFC center, and the few hecklers in that audience made me sad. I would have been pissed to have 400 people around me who are only concerned with making fun of ugly people.
I Love Shelley Duvall, too, and thinks she gives an amazing performance in "The Shining." I also think that Kubrick also sort of "uglied" her up with her clothes and hair so that you could see the low self-worth she had and better understand why she stayed with Jack.
I saw The Shining there last year in September and it was, shall I say, fucking awesome. I've seen that movie about 120 times but never before in an audience full of hecklers, you don't realize how horribly ugly Shelley Duvall is until you're amongst 400 people making snorting noises during every close-up of those toofs. It was hilarious.

There's a typo in your anchor link tag. It should be "Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservatory."

There is going to be no living with you since Denton gave you the OK to point out typos.

Watch "3 Women" to see a beautiful Shelley.
