She was on the Colbert Report last week and it was one of the most humiliating (for the guest) interview he's ever had... And she's so dumb, just smiles through it.
Between the accent, her increasingly comical public freakouts, and a name (Orly Taitz!), I'm seriously convinced that she's actually Sacha Baron Cohen and we've all been punk'd.
@Uncle_Billy_Slumming: Oh, according to CNN, she's also a Dentist and (as it's apparently rather hard to get a job as either a dentist or a lawyer apparently), a Real Estate Agent.
@Uncle_Billy_Slumming:
The year that the above was issued (if real) was 1964, 3 years after O's Bday. Why? What reason could anyone have to request a copy of his Kenyan birth certificate 3 years later?
Perhaps because I move slowly...Perhaps because I drink too much... Smithhimself tries to take the long view of things.
The second day after Obama's election, the NYTimes printed a crucial demographic map that showed where the Republican Party had GAINED in the popular vote over the second W. Bush election.
Staring at this map with bleary eyes, I realized that I was looking at something I had always sensed about my country: "The Stupid Belt" of America -- those locations that are fundamentally less educated and less aware of the larger world.
The Stupid Belt will not vanish in the next three years. Indeed, Gentle Reader, it will grow more shrill, more outrageous and -- well -- a bit more stupid.
I chuckled at this remix, then read the YouTube viewer comments attached to the original interview. You scroll through hundreds of rants made by people who believe in muddled conspiracies because it blows their mind that a black man is in the White House.
Orly Taitz may be ridiculous (and she definitely needs to buy a better wig). But the blatherings of the Stupid Belt will not vanish because of facts -- or Gawker sarcasm.
Get used to it, Gentle Reader. This is our era.
How come you guys failed to point out that the baloney about the original being destroyed is probably not true? From this it looks not just like they have the original, but that they have microfilm and digitized copies too. [www.usatoday.com]
What is the big deal? So what if it turns out that he wasn't eligible? He leaves, some other puppet steps up. This seems to be an issue of pride -- many are realizing that he's not the messiah they expected and they're so embarrassed they have to fight to maintain their self-worth.
I have it on good authority (reliable, ehem, source) that Orly is an agent provocateur (agente provocateuse?), and that we're all being set up for a huge crisis of confidence as the economic devastation peaks. It will be revealed when people are much poorer and angrier.
@Uncle_Billy_Slumming:
Addendum: Clean barrel giving birth to Obama in Hawaiian waters. This brings up an interesting question: Does Obama surf? A real one of these would trounce those bare moobied Putin-horse photos.
