    Wasn't the Beatles' Rock Band hugely expensive vs. just regular Rock Band (like 3x more)? I am sure they will blame it on various things, but when I first heard what they wanted for it, it seemed awfully high for this economy. #thebeatles

    Rock Band is like karaoke. And the only people who go to one-band karaoke nights are the die-hards. So it follows with game sales; the lack of broad musical interest inherent in a one-band release makes it unlikely that we'll ever see such a thing again. After all, the Beatles were probably the most diverse pop group ever, and it takes quite a band to produce a video game's worth of recognizable songs. #thebeatles

    Everyone knows rock and roll sputtered to a stop in 1976. Don't Stop Believin'? Hair bands of the 80's produced stripper dance tracks. I expect this show to do for rock and roll what West Side Story did for street gangs.

    Why just hair bands and metal? I'd really need this to be all encompassing, despite my love for Pat Benatar. What about Human League, Modern English, Kajagoogoo, frickin Billy Idol for Christ's sake? Or this one, the Steve Miller Band, famous for magic, psychedelic unicorns, and S&M occultists? How could this not be on Broadway?

    I have to agree. I saw this off broadway and, again, in previews last week. It is the silliest thing you could ever imagine but yet I had a great time ... twice!
