    Back in the 19th Century Barbary Coast pirates used to kidnap English women (and children) off the coast of Devon and Cornwall to turn into their sex slaves (or in the case of the boys more likely to sell as slaves) in North Africa.


    Wouldn't it be romantic if the Somali pirates kidnapped women from Battery Park City and Riverside Park and took them as wives?

    Shouldn't the Indian Navy have confirmed that the ship was flying a skull and crossbones before declaring it a pirate mother ship? Because, you know, the Thai flag is REALLY easy to mistake for A BLACK FLAG WITH A BIG SKULL ON IT.
