    leighton and ed are doing the lord's work and now schwartz wants to spread himself again with a third show? here's some advise josh: hire writers who know how to pace storylines. also fire everyone except leighton, ed and blake lively's breasts. don't say i never tried to help you.

    Wasn't this the plot of a season of 90210 with Ray Pruitt, which they spun off into a show called "The Heights" or something.

    @secondbecky: Except Ray Pruitt abused Donna. If Rufus abused Lily, I think CeCe would pretty much destroy him... like every other plot line with her in it.

    I am so sad. But if this means that Gossip Girl will become adult-free, then it's a trade-off I'm willing to accept. The OC sucked in the end because of the stupid adult plot lines. Nobody cares! Old people should just go ahead and die already.

    @Mundane: Agreed. The whole Rufus/Lily thing is taking over the show and giving us less Chuck/Blair interaction. But we're still agreed on the less Vanessa the better deal, right, Schwartz/Savage?
