i will actually do my part and subscribe if it comes back. I've made a career in publishing, I should take one for the team. Though you should consider this Denton...
She's originally from Wisconsin, so I'm guessing her dad got drunk on Point beer, and took a swing at the groom's father right before the Dollar Dance. But they all made up the next day, during the gift opening held in his parents' garage. Oh, it was real nice.
F you people with the three day weddings. Jesus. It's bad enough to have to give up a whole Saturday to dress up and go to some far-away place and pay $200 for one place-setting of fugly china for a gift. If I have to take time off work for one more 3-day weekend wedding I'm going to lose it. People are unbelievably self-centered with this shit. We had a nice, quiet short garden wedding in our town with no registry. Done.
@GooberSaysHey: No kidding. I got married at the county courthouse for $25 . . . 20 years ago. I think people forget marriage is about a lifetime, not just 1-5 days.
Nobody's crying here. If you think there aren't more criticisms of female bodies than male ones, then you aren't living in this era. You could say that women are set up with more criticism because of how they are presented (less clothes), but who does that benefit, exactly?
No one said men aren't criticized at all. But when 12 year old girls are walking down the runway and 30 is seen as old age, there's something amiss.
@son of spam: ah charlie. there's a man who hasn't seen his own knees in quite some time.
Seriously, though, he should have his cholesterol and triglycerides checked. Good health, strong knees, that's what the school nurse at elmcrest elementary always said.
Speaking of Asian-Australian journalism, I just watched The Year of Living Dangerously last night for the first time in ages, and it holds up. Young Gibson hawt, not Jesus-crazy. I'd still rather fuck Linda Hunt than Matt Drudge though, for purely moral reasons. Perhaps in the hot monsoon rain. No kneeling necessary.
"Senior News Corporation figures in the US are openly discussing the unthinkable, that the marriage between Rupert Murdoch and Wendi Deng has broken down and the couple have separated. If Wendi has left Rupert that means there will be two less children to be pushed into the inheritance pot joining four from his first two marriages. There’s supposed to be a trust that contains assets and shares for the four kids. There has been talk that the two children by Wendi were going to be made beneficiaries of part of that trust. But now? Lachie sold News Corp shares last week and is spending money — $112 million on half of DMG Radio Australia, $23 million on a Bellevue Hill mansion in Sydney and now some media assets in the US, led by Hollywood Reporter according to the Financial Times. Elisabeth is building her Shine production company business in the UK, US and next year, Australia. James of course wants to run the family company. Prudence has bowed out and is not active in the media. (Given the nature of this tip, we approached News’s Australian corporate spinner Greg Baxter this morning for comment. He did not reply to our emails.)"

My cousin had one recently. They've separated twice since, and I don't give them more than another 6 months.

Men and women alike are susceptible to eating and body image disorders. No one is denying that.
