@BookishLookish: She said on NPR that he came down and told her and that he seemed really sad about it. She actually had good things to say about him and how he let her run Gourmet . Her only real criticism was not having the opportunity to do one last issue. #ruthreichl
@Mo MoDo: I read Demian too, see, so I thought I'd try some of that mind control jazz. There are popular spots in our town, which means folks have to serve by standing and waiting, and whenever I did, I always made it a point to direct lazered guilt at them as was happily seated amid their gluttony.
The timelapse between the times when I lazered guilt and forgot did not exist. Then I noticed when I sat down finally, I never gave the least thought to the hungry strangers up along the wall.
Generally, everyone overestimates their own effect on the world, with the possible exception of the Grand Ole Oprah. #ruthreichl
That's nice Guy- you didn't marry someone you hated, his new admission is no revealation. "Madona can out dance and perform 23's year olds"-too bad she can't write her own material. There's a website by a girl named Aisha- it shows just how original Madonna really isn't. As a matter of fact Live 8 and her feed the world jimp, was also a plan, idea stolen from another's brilliant mind (Malcolm Mclaren-Bob Geldof-Live Aid). Madonna can also shut up alot of entertainers- with her publicist, and financial return, plus subversive business tactics- she has and does malign people, use their work- sometimes buy them out, and even ruin their lives. She's a capitalist, uses other's art to make money, her life would end without sucking the life out of other's work. "Swept Away" failed miserably, and Madona's album "American Life" was a rip off of Kylie Minogue- and actually not only did the greedy camera lovin' imitation of art, rip off Kylie but she spread out Kylies material into a few products, to really get more bang for her buck, and poor Kylie got cancer. Guy's just being nice- maybe the divorce settlement loot ran out or he is nervous she'll sabotage his new film release and wants to keep it on his good side.
@namemale: You're making me defend Madonna, so I'm not happy, but by the time Kylie Minogue had her first hit (with a remake no less) Madonna was already a global megastar. Also, the credits of every album lets you know what she does and does not write. They aren't state secrets. And Guy Ritchie is quite capable of sabotaging his own film work, thank you very much. He doesn't need his ex-wife's help.
Why call Bruce Willis' casting scam "scuzzy" when the film industry as a whole was built on and is sustained by "scuzz"? You really need to be schooled about Errol Flynn and Charlie Chaplin? Didn't think so.

It was a long time ago, but a long-time reviewer at New York said she'd been fired by fax. #ruthreichl
