I had just read something about Lefevre. Is it me, or is she an idiot? By the grace of the casting gods, a relatively unknown TV actress gets a part in a what becomes a major franchise, and she's actually expecting them to schedule around her? Is there some element of this I'm not aware of, or is she gobsmackingly stupid?

@MissNormaDesmond: I find it kind of interesting that she's being replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard. Makes me wonder if they weren't looking to replace her with a name, and this was a convenient way to do it.

@MissNormaDesmond: Her reps are stupid. They should have cleared it with Twilight before signing her up for Barney's Version. Her role shoots Italy and Toronto, so there's now way she could do both if the dates are the same. Also, she is contracted to do Eclipse, so if they really wanted her, they could have forced her to do it and drop Barney. So yeah, I'm going with, they wanted to replace her with a bigger name.

@ScarletSpeedster: Where are you getting that? I would have thought that would have been part of Lefevre's statement, and it's certainly directly contrary to Summit's version of events in the story linked to above.
