I think there was even gratuitous tit in a documentary about wheat I saw a couple of months ago. But the waving stalks were all blurred out. Too penisy, don't you know?

If it would keep people from bringing their five year olds to 10 pm showings of films that clearly have an adult theme, I say gay butt sex in every film!!!

@Mr. Bar: Haven't bothered to see it -- probably the right call.

Although I did think the board had a point with their NC-17 rating of "Rin Tin Tin Gets In."

When the movie gets released I hope he refrains from doing all the PR work in character. On screen: funny, off screen: dull, shallow, overwrought...

@laura_pinkstone: I fell in love with SBC when he appeared on "The Daily Show" to promote his HBO series.

I fell out of love during the "Borat" movie. Who could imagine that a character that is hilarious in 5 min increments could be coma-inducing in a full feature film? Besides the producers of his "Ali G" movie, I mean?

And yet watching people's limbs get ripped off by gunfire in a stupid action movie will never be able to earn an NC-17.

I'm assuming he's taking the South Park angle. In which they put a scene in the film they know will get a NC-17 rating, then remove it and they've got their R. As opposed to to hoping the film, without that scene, would get an R. Which it may not then they have to remove material they really wanted in. Just a thought.
