@Foster Kamer: It was a quaint slice of life that illuminated the moral ambiguities of the talk show world while asserting an undertone of fertile insouciance? I don't know. If it doesnt' have a talking pig, I don't get it.
@Atilla the Bun: Not only is the joke is a repeat. The sketch is repetitive. It follows the same formula : tension, arguing, someone attempts to leave and more arguing. It's like the this sketch is so bad the writers and actors choose not to remember but they writers are so bad they create the same bad sketch.
@worldgreatestgirl: Of course the sketch it repetitive. It's supposed to be. I find it funny, but I try to find the humor in the familial torture that is Thanksgiving.
@jasonelias: I actually think JGL has been good with what they're giving him, but what they're giving him blows. And why is he singing in every damn sketch?
@jasonelias: I don't think JGL is tanking. Granted, I don't want him to tank, so maybe I'm biased. But I've found this episode rather funny so far, except for that awful Keenan skit.
@Atilla the Bun: I also enjoyed the NBC green dig, very well played. Since running for President he must have taken some acting lessons, he's much better than he used to be.
Has anyone been watching Heroes this season? I've been skipping it because it's on at the same time as two other shows I watch, but is it worth trying to catch up online or should I just let it go?
@DahlELama: I've been wondering the same thing. Couldn't fit it into by Tivo schedule, but I was going to download this season thus far off of itunes but don't know if it's worth it. I could probably watch just to see Sylar/Z.Q. brood, but doesn't he have someone else's face this season?
@DahlELama: Skip it. I've been an on and off fan since the start, but damned if I can figure out what the point -- the overarching goal or conflict -- is this year. Mild girl-on-girl action only goes so far (so to speak), and though I like the carny characters, there's reallly too much HRG.
@unclevanya: They seem obsessed with having everyone sing this season, from Kenan to Kristin Wiig to every single guest host imaginable. At what point do you think they'll realize it's never funny?

I'm already searching for funny 3rd Rock clips to pass the time.

Speaking of third rock though, do you watch Dexter? John Lithgow is deliciously creepy this season.
