    I have to confess something shameful: I bear a striking resemblance to the crazy woman. It's so embarassing to hear "Wow, you know you look just like..." and I know who's name is coming. I wish she'd quit fucking looking like me! (Cause I'm sure as hell not changing...)

    So, if her contention is that the dreaded Single Momz are destroying America does that mean she believes that the douchebags on Wall Street who invented and traded in imaginary debt futures and pretended to add value to society while basically raping the country blind...are they all the products of the Lone Ladiez? Because that's the biggest social problem I see on our landscape today. And those particular welfare mothers down Wall Street way just got a Federal Handout worth more than all the accumulated entitlement spending in American history.

    What i really liked is the way Lauer barely paused and certainly didn't acknowledge her attempts to divert him. He just kept going, barely concealing his contempt. Which frankly surprises me, since most of the time this show is just an ass-kissing festival.

    Of course, the pound and a half of makeup makes her look like somebody who spend the previous night boozing it up until the wee hours.


    Note that the Coulter interview took place early in the 7AM block when most people were probably still in bed. I am up at 7, so I caught the tail end of it after my shower. She called BHO "B. Hussein Obama" five of six times before belting out the standard neoconservative line congratulating President Bush for "keeping us safe for the past eight years," forgetting all about 9/11, Bush's ignoring warnings from his own intelligence people about same, and all that.


    My guess that is wasn't so much of a "cave" on NBC's part as it was fulfilling a contractual obligation, complying with the letter of it, if not the spirit, by putting her on when we were still trying to get that ten extra minutes of shut-eye.

    "The Drudge Report has never had to retract a news report?" Is this woman mad? Drudge is flat-out wrong more than he's even half-right. He has never had to retract anything because he refuses to do it.
