    The future is officially dumb. They should have just axed the 'c' in sci making it si-fi like wi-fi? if you read the Advertising Age article, you realize how it's all bullshit. To say that this logo now represents a friendlier channel further distancing itself from the space loving nerds is foolish. I interviewed there once and was told that they were no going after the female audience by injecting some emotional drama. So it's now a space themed soap channel!

    Now that the whole brand business is squared away (Syfy is lame, btw) can we do something about those disastrous TV movies starring aging 80's stars (Todd Bridges! Christopher Atkins!) hell-bent on saving the world from huge worms/fish/dragons/other forms of rodentia not yet emerging from evolution, and if they did we'd all just live underground and give up the entire whopping planet to these engorged groundhogs anyway, 'cause, really, no one needs to know you need to pay rent that badly, right? And huge groundhogs, just why? Yeah, um, those movies...that I clearly haven't ever seen...and find little reason to talk about.
