When the WTC was bombed in 1993, did anyone talk about offshoring the terrorists who did it? No, in fact we wanted them here to face us. What changed? And please don't say "9/11", because that excuse hasn't worked since at least the last election. Nor does it make any sense - both the 1993 bombing and 9/11 resulted in death and destruction, and neither were carried out by terrorists being held in US jails. Isn't jail where we want them to be?
