I don't believe the story. No one who's been celibate would casually say "I picked up this girl." The person would be so beaten down and insecure that picking up someone as if it were just an everyday occurrence is absolutely unrealistic.

I've been with my now-husband for eight years, and even as fairly regular sex-havers, the idea of meeting someone and taking them to a hotel room without nerves or an emotional freakout is utterly alien. First sex in so long, and the guy would be telling a MUCH different story.

If that story is even partially true, they need to break the fuck up. Co-dependent doesn't even come close to describing that situation.

Jesus Christ. This has to be fake. What kind of exes share a bed in a house that must have a couch, while actively trying to sleep with other people? Who forwards sexy emails from dates, to the aforementioned co-habitiating ex, for "clarification"?! Who asks a one-night stand if his penis is drippy and disgusting?!? And how are there possibly that many art openings to attend in suburban Connecticut?! The mind reels.
