You know, I had never heard of Shallon before someone sent me this post today, but I've just watched a few of her videos, and I actually really like her. Not afraid to be herself, and seems like she'd be a lot of fun to hang out around. I think MTV made a great decision! I'll definitely watch that show.
So, basically MTV is going to take a girl, which based on the video, I assume does a LonelyGirl15 confessional-type thing and send her outside, where she can be like iJustine?
With laser-like precision, she slices through layers of complex social mystery that have baffled golden retrievers for centuries. Never before has the preppy belt been so mercilessly ridiculed.
It's kind of mean, the video auto-starting like that. I just needed 10 seconds to know how deeply I already detest this person whom I never heard of before reading this post.
Love the camera posed at the perfect angle on her good side. It's just unfortunate that her insufferable personality doesn't seem to have one. A good side.
@pony_express: Amen to that! The pulling power of Madras is not to be underestimated. Combined with the bow tie it says "I'm not Anderson Cooper, but I could pretend!"
Of the words "twentysomethings in New York: a whip-smart vlogger/blogger" I would say the only words that acccurately describe her are "/" and possibly ":".
Has anyone seen a copy of Steppin' Out? I grew up in Jersey and used to hear Chaunce Hayden talk about it on Stern. But I have never ever seen a physical copy of it.
