I don't feel sorry for him, but I do feel sorry for employees and shareholders who have to watch his fuckups helplessly since he owns 51 percent of the voting shares and can do whatever he wants no matter how stupid or petty. He desperately holds onto power and seems to think he will live forever.

Actually, MTV Networks(and in particular, Nickelodeon) has also been a money maker for the company over the years, and subsidized his huge miscalculations, like Blockbuster--also huge payouts to execs he wanted to get rid of (like Biondi, Freston, Karmazin, etc.)
