    The true downside - she now has no choice but to spend more with Nick Kristof, listening to him constantly talk about the plight of children in underdeveloped countries.

    You know, there really isn't anything snarky I can think to say about these two. Nick Kristof is so pleasant, social-justice-oriented -- though with a little goofy-ness -- and she is really engaged with what she is talking about. They make an interesting and cute couple! (Disclaimer: I really like Kristof's columns. I'm in the tank!)


    Also, I like how Charlie Rose asked Nick Kristof whether the Chinese believed themselves to be the "chosen people," and then Charlie Rose pauses for what seemed like an eternity before he said "people" recognizing the ambiguity of his word choice and trying to gauge whether anyone might take offense.


    What a great interview.

    Maybe if Nick weren't such a crappy Op-Ed columnist ("Today I will talk about why genocide is a bad thing...") she wouldn't have been laid off so easily.
