Thanks for putting into words why I just stopped caring.

Glad you're branching out from those Newsday movie reviews -- your stuff is too fresh for that gig, yo.

Hopefully nothing, and the show can stop giving so much attention to their relationship and focus on the more interesting characters.
So maybe the wedding is a good thing even for the cynics.

As for Jim & Pam--no they don't have the same romantic swoon that they did back in the Casino-episode era. But I still think the writers have done a decent job of keeping them entertaining, in part because they are letting them be a happy couple and not trying to create some out-of-character friction like cheating.
And during the season finale, when Jim came out of the doctor's office after finding out Pam was pregnant, the expression on his face of such pure joy did bring a tear to my eye. So sue me. I still like Jim and Pam.

Yes, let's kill everyone after they get married, because you know, they won't have any drama or comedy in their lives. There's never been a sitcom centered around married people. Married people just get along perfectly, have kids, move to Florida, and then I'm a little fuzzy about what happens after because I don't associate with married people.
But I do agree about the "No Thanks." Only because I can only watch one NBC comedy, and that's 30 Rock.

Or, ya know, they could just go on doing exactly what they're doing, but while wearing extra rings and with their relationship not being a major plot point.
I will say though, you're missing out with your NBC comedy limit--the second half of last season of The Office was great and the series premiere of Community was pretty good too.

The Office only works because of those characters. You have to have them to counterbalance the stupidity of the rest of the characters. Also, they're cute and both actors do a great job with the thankless roles of being the "straight" men.
and, in addition to Creed and Mose, you can never have too much Meredith or Phyllis.

I guess it comes down to how many raised eyebrow glances to the camera Jim can make until people realize they like him for making raised eyebrow glances to a camera.

Also, stapler in Jello? Desk in the bathroom? Rerouting Dwight's calls to his own headset? The man's pretty effing funny and clever. Also, nice butt and basketball skills.

Seriously, I see your point and everything you mentioned (especially the Stanley incident - that really got to me) is the reason why my feelings for them teeter between love, amusement and boredom.
In any event, I'll see you at the wedding - just don't forget extra tissues.
