    That picture makes me think of Rahm the Vampire, and how, during her White House visit, he turned Stephanie Meyer into a sobbing pile of sexual need with single glance, and thus was born the Twilight book about how RPat's character leaves Bella and the vampire babies for a life in politics due to the hot machinations of this vampire mentor dude who is surprisingly JUST LIKE RAHM, but not, and then, somehow, an entire fanfic genre is born featuring Rahm, Jon Stewart and their put-upon sparkly houseboy RPat.

    @OrneryBabe: Embarassing but true: the thought of being in the middle of a Rahm/Ari sandwich makes me want to touch myself. And I'm sure we could probably work the doctor brother in too, though I'm not sure where we'd put him.

    @PandoraSpocks: not even close to true. rahm is smart and powerful and has a long memory and makes deposits and withdrawls from the favors bank, which is all in the standard job description for his role.

    karl rove is a lying spawn of the devil who undermined democracy for fun and carried water for every miscreant trolling for dollars in the most corrupt administration in history, and is not at all hot

    But just to contrast him with our beloved Rahm, here is a blast from Gawker's past, via tammyfey: "Is there anyone, but anyone, more physically repulsive than Karl Rove? Can you imagine that clammy loaf of suet climbing on top of you while being drenched in rivulets of lukewarm spittle? Can you hear his feeble, raspy wheeze and smell his fetid breath and traces of Old Spice while you wonder how life will ever have any worth when this ghastly violation has passed?"

    @PandoraSpocks: Difference: Rahm was elected at least once. Even Dick Cheney at one point convinced enough people to vote for him to get into Congress. Rove was never elected to anything other than student council because he's a revolting worm.
