Say what you will about the rise and fall of Iceland, but I'll always have Love in the Time of Science. And they are very liberal on social issues. In fact, same sex couples register for almost all the rights & benefits of marriage.

Solution: Iceland should invade Greenland on the "It's-Closer-To-Us-Than-It-Is-To-Denmark" principle. (Similar to why New Jersey claims the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. True! Okay, not really.) Then, when Copenhagen sends their entire army and navy to take back that huge muthafukkin' island - in a move reminiscent of the UK battling Argentina for the Falklands - Iceland invades Denmark, sending their version of the Delta Force, a.k.a. The Reykjavikickers, to Billund to overtake Lego headquarters. Et voila! Problems solved.

@JLynRedux: Awww. I think I'll take you there one day. Richmond county, aka Staten, that is. First class seats on the Ferry. An all-day, all-expenses paid excursion to the Staten Island Mall. After which we'll dine on the 12-oz. ribeye at Outback - for that authentic Down Under taste! (The Down Under taste, BTW, is basically Foster's.) Then top it off with a gypsy cab ride down Hylan Boulevard. I think this is a good deal.
