What the fuck was that ad? We saw it last night on TV and were dumbstruck. We had to search for Ritalin after watching it. And who the hell remembers Sir Mix a Lot under the age of 30??? Bad ad.

@TroisFilles: The people who remember Sir Mix-a-Lot are over 30, but they are also the ones who will see this add and take their children to Burger King. Let's remember that advertising something to kids can either be done by making kids like it, or making their parents like it. And the latter's more effective considering who gets a paycheck.

The most offensive part is the nod to Kim Kardashian, and YES, someday her ass will be square.

Okay, that's not the most offensive--it's putting girl butts in boy shorts, cause every.single.time. it causes the square butt. Those dancers look like they should be working for the USPS.

They are subliminally pimping cigarettes! I'm mean come on, "Squares" and "Butts". I'm surprised they didn't throw the English term for them in there too, just to subliminally hit that demographic too.

And, as Burger King said he wanted to get with him, we finally def. know Bob is geigh.

At the bilingual ice cream stand I saw a Sponge Bob ice cream novelty advertised as Bob Esponja. I immediately blurted out "con los pantalones cuadrados! Con los panatalones cuadrados!" And, of course, I bought one. So, you see, square pants really do move product.

(Semi-related: from then on, I giggle whenever I have to solve a quadratic equation. Pantalones cuadrĂ¡ticos! Pantalones cuadrĂ¡ticos!)

At least 1/3 of the people in my office have caught themselves singing it to themselves in public and blushed.

So, is the Burger King and Sir Mix-a-Lot the same person? Because I believe that's a monarchic constitutional impossibility. If you disapprove of his message, you should also question the legitimacy of his holding either of these titles.

I don't know... Spongebob is a show that's pretty funny to adults. I think this is a perfect commercial. Children love square asses, and adults love irony.

Also adults secretly love the square ass thing too.

This is pretty perfect for me.
