You know what would be great? If it were the 80s and Obama was president. That would be great.

A sit-com about a junk man and his wacky kid would work. How about a remake of Sanford and Son? Also, does anyone remember the short-lived Dom DeLuise sitcom from the mid-70s called "Lotsa Luck?" Would love to see that show return. It was hilarious.

Just forget about spending any money and play some Soviet-era cartoons backwards. Somewhere around the 219th hour, we shall know what to do about the collapsing world. Or die gibbering.

@RedLineRage: Always Listen To The Commies When They Are Dissing Capitalism Because They Will Eventually Be Proved Right, Even If It Takes 45 Years And The Meltdown Of Their Own Ideology; Or, How To Get A Dog Elected To Congress.

I once wrote headlines for a living, can you tell?

What did that guy do with all the tourists that usually hang out on that bull? People CLIMB on that thing like it's a playground. When I walk by there I get the urge to spray them. Like a bunch of cockroaches.

So why is it that even during the recession Kelsey Grammar can still roll around naked on his piles of money?

The one time I don't have seizures trying to come up with something snappy to say, it turns out to be tag-worthy *and* attributable. Figures. Epic poetry it ain't, but I will definitely carry the tag around with me to bars.

What we need is a new reality program in which jobless investment bankers, wall street execs, etc fight to the death in a cage match in a competition for the love of Bill Gates.
I'm full of TV ideas today.

@everfade: I also like the idea of former Investment Bankers trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, where their only chance for survival is to kill and eat each other.

Yeah, the poor people. I'll stick to watching the piles of money in my bathroom.

Who am I kidding, I'm eating Frosted Flakes for dinner tonight. Sigh.
