Why don't people save people in Darfur or volunteer in an animal shelter or join Greenpeace if they want to put their energies somewhere instead of on this ridiculous outrage over nothing?

This new Thanksgiving outrage and the requisite nativity scene with the Christmas tree and the menorah and who knows what else every fucking where is annoying as shit.

Can every body just STFU and stop the petty fucking bullshit? If you're so fucking pissed about shit, go do something that matters and stop the pathetic hollow means nothing outrage.

I teach 1st grade. I am forced by the curriculum (which is normally progressive) to make these turkey hats with feathers attached. My favorite student, upon putting one on, came up to me and said, "Now I look like an Africa America." So, I tried mightly to explain all the labels- Native American/American Indian/Indians/African American, to 20 first graders and, ah, the game was lost before it started.
