@Pope John Peeps II: You know what's worse than this? Getting someone's voic-email and discovering that she's let her kid sing "You Are My Sunshine" for the outgoing message.
@Pope John Peeps II: Hopefully those intentions can be grounded on some sort of inter-subjectively valid method of reasoning in order to harmonize those of the other independent subjects in the world. I don't, however, think Sartre ever held out hope that such a thing was possible, but his political engagement with the student and worker movement certainly demonstrated that his cynicism had its limits.
@i'm_a_bottle: You know, if you sing that jibba jabba academo-speak into Microsoft Songsmith, while the drum plays the computer will automatically find the right chords to accompany you while you put the noose around your neck, and try desperately to end your miserable, nauseous life.
@Pope John Peeps II: Thanks for the clarification. I can now take step down off the stool that I was planning to kick over.
I've written ambiguous comments before that could either be interpreted against the author instead of against the true object of derision. You write it, and then don't even think about it before you send it. Then, you read it, and you're like, "Oh, crap, that wasn't what I meant at all." It's one of the hazards of commenting online in forums where you can't edit.
@Pope John Peeps II: i'm actually kind of surprised they let you get away with that word.
"S"...appropriate for anyone who sings in the shower. What about cars? I sing in my car. And swear. Singing and swearing, the modern American driving experience.
