    @scroll_lock: Actually, if memory serves, MJ was raised Jehovah Witness and the Thriller disclaimer was a compromised gesture at his mother's behest. And, I believe that I saw somewhere that at the end of his life, MJ was protected by Nation of Islam security, which would also frown upon the things you list.

    So, I guess when you cut right down to it and despite his best efforts - In the end, Michael Jackson was human, nothing more.
