I'm the writer responsible for Gawker's pickup of this story. For the record, nothing in the newspaper coverage that I got this from indicated that it was anything but an overshare. #mafia

The Vito saga from the fictional show is based on the true story in the DaClavante crime family, That's why Tony says in the episode "C'mon guys, we all know he's not the first"

Guess he wasn't the last either... #mafia

There was a blind item about six months ago about an actor trying to hock his Oscar and GG awards because he was having serious financial problems. Was able to unload the Globe but not the Oscar since it actually belongs to the Academy. Seems we know who now.

I'm sure that Page Six article is in no way related to the fact that Sherlock Holmes looks to be a big Xmas release for Warner Bros., while Murdoch's only Xmas release is the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie.

It took until August this year for the most current "Fat Jack in the Water/on a Boat" photos to surface. Kind of late in the summer.
I wonder if this means something, like the groundhog seeing his shadow...

@Mikey-B: Then what are his best & second best ones? I'll go with:
    1. Wild at Heart
    2. Face/Off
    3. If possible, I'd squeeze his no-lines part credited to "Nicolas Coppola" in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" as his 2.5th best movie.

@snugbug: Leaving Las Vegas and Bringing Out the Dead. The two movies where Nicolas Cage doesn't completely mail it in and you might think he can be a good actor.
But I might have to squeeze Face/Off in ahead of Family Man...just an absolute tour de force.
