I'm convinced remake fever is all about the originators cashing in a second time by allowing their stuff to be remade so they can cash a check without ever spending a dime on production. Ick.

Please someone do a listicle of all the lamest movies ever that could be remade! And, yes, watch it all happen. I'm starting with:

    1) Weekend at Bernie's (Dead people are fun!)

    2) Carnosaur (No one saw this, ever!)

    3) The Pirate Movie (Willie Aames from Charles in Charge!)

    4) Who's That Girl, Shanghai Surprise, Body of Evidence (Madonna could have her own category)

    5) Anything testing your intestinal fortitude and starring the illustrious Lorenzo Lamas! Body Rock He breakdances, y'all.

That was Tim Curry as a homicidal clown. Well.. I guess he did a pretty good job. Marbles!

I can't decide who would make a more fabulous homicidal clown, Paul Giamatti or Tim Curry.

    Neve Campbell (still exists!)

By "still exists!" you mean of course "has been working consistently, yet doesn't crave gross attention spotlighting her relationships, vague mental infirmities, etc."

according to the BBC, Kajganich is also working on a redo of Pet Sematary, and It will be set in present-day. Clearly, the house on Niebold Street is vacant because the owners lost it in foreclosure.
