    @mypsychoticself: Not an IP lawyer but I do know of a case that may apply. I think these folks are totally protected by the First (free speech, parody etc.) however there have been cases where publisher A brings out a book by an author and then publisher B brings out an old manuscript of the same author to piggyback and then publisher A attempts to enjoin them from publishing because it causes booksellers to order fewer copies of the "legitimate" book and also causes confusion in the marketplace. I forget all the legal principles involved but I do know publisher A lost. Just remember that Palin's publisher will likely have more money to burn in the legal system than publisher B in this case.

    She's so much more fun than Anita Bryant and Phyllis Schafly. And Ann Coulter, for that matter. I like the story that she came home from work at noon and got into her Walmart pajama set and watched wedding shows on TV. I hope it's true. I can identify with that. #sarahpalin
