I recently heard a true story that involved Bill, A younger girl and a party in east Williamsburg.

Supposedly he showed up with some chick to a hipster party after meeting her at a party in the city.

He was a good sport but then started getting too much attention and was regretting coming there. To make matters worse the girl supposedly left without him!

I heard a story like that but the celebrity was Esther Williams (kids, ask your Grampa). During her movie heyday, a teen kid ran into her and her friends at some hamburger stand in the middle of nowhere. After she gave him her autograph, he said 'Gosh, I don't think my friends are going to believe I met Esther Williams!'. So she pulled her sweater and shirt up and flashed her bare boobs at the kid. Walking away she said to her friend, 'now they definitely won't believe him'.

The Union Square guy was lucky to only get Murray's hands over his eyes.

He reminds me so much of me, but I can't figure out why. File me under Strange Men and Sad Things too, I guess. Well, off to my regular scheduled activity -- walking down the boulevard with my transistor radio pressed close to my ear, stopping every once in a while to challenge passersby to punch me in the stomach as hard as they can.

I think Murray will find some peace this February, as he watches Sean Penn take away the Oscar from sentimental underdog Mickey Rourke, just as he did from Murray several years ago...and Bill will realize it wasn't personal.

In the time it took him to do that, Brian Doyle-Murray did three small movie roles and 14 TV guest appearances. And Joel Murray got drunk, wet himself, and was forced to take a "leave of absence" from Sterling Cooper.

True fact: The Murray brothers actually do have a sister, Nancy, who's sort of in show business. She's a Dominican nun who travels around the world doing a one-woman show about St. Catherine of Siena.
