    I know I'm just an ignorant old hack. Bear with me. I don't think that I could knock over a liquor store without a wheelman. Are we to believe that no one else on those three floors in the lipstick building knew that the whole thing was a fucking fraud? Aren't a few more indictments appropriate here? Shouldn't a few dozen more thieves be confined to their palaces?

    @Weegee's bored: I raised the same question yesterday and someone slapped me down, suggesting that Madoff pulled off the greatest Ponzi Scheme in world history all by himself, on the 17th floor, behind some big, impenetrable steel door.

    Fuckin a. As someone who fights for those crapped on by the justice system, his house arrest for such serious offenses is worse than a joke.


    I can't wait until the End really gets here. Some of these people are in for a rude awakening. It's going to be fun for me to watch!
