    Lots of people use Sidekicks. But they are black or latino and young and live in scary places like Oakland or Harlem or the Bronx or Los Angeles. The others are Deaf students. So you know? No one cares or sees these people.

    @oneninesevenfour: As a high school teacher of the young black and Latino kids in Oakland (yes, the "scary" part), I can testify that the Sidekick is the phone of choice.

    But, like you suggest, if a black kid uses a sidekick in Oakland, and there are no white people around to see it, did it happen?

    Cut T-Mobile USA some slack. They're a mere subsidiary of a Germ telecom company and it's national holiday weekend in Deutschland. The bratwurts and sauerkraut won't eat themselves, Americans. Sheesh!
