    First of all, I say anyone who can make this economy work again, and I mean really work, with no bubbles or regulatory vacations or other illusory bullshit, can fuck whomever they want.


    Second, Republicans need to drop their hypocritical sex bullshit. Right now, I want someone in South Carolina to introduce a gay marriage bill so that Mark Sandford can tell his constituents that he believes marriage is between one man and one woman.


    Come on, 'pubs. We know you fuck. We don't like to visualize it, but we know you're doin' it, too.

    Whaaa? Bill Clinton got no shit for his affairs. Only massive amounts of taxpayer dollars used toward investigations that discovered nothing other than that Bill liked the ladies. They still fucking talk about it all the fucking time!


    The reason it's hilarious when Republicans get caught is that they purport to be moral authorities on marriage. They don't want gays married! Meanwhile they leave their cancer-dying wives for another and in the case of Ghouliani--cheat on his wife in front of an entire city. It's the hypocrisy, Repub-idiots.

    Republicans who sleep around STAY politically viable, because the party of hypocrisy has no problem making room for them and their second and third wives, even as they bitch about everyone else's infidelities and work to prevent Opposite Marriage from making a mockery of this sacred institution. Pure evil.


    Bill Clinton is the only Democrat I can recall who wasn't completely felled by his sex scandal.

    I honestly think Spitzer (a Democrat) got it worse than anyone. Edwards (a Democrat) was a close second. I'm always on the lookout for media hypocrisy, but in this case I think that its pretty fair.


    Besides, Sanford, you jack off. You abandoned your job for a few days to get laid. I could care less about your adult consensual extra-marital activities, but you're not the weekend, night manager at the local Pizza Hut. You're a governor.

    @ChillbearLatrigue: Eliot Spitzer had a long and well-earned reputation for being a no-nonsense law and order type. This is why he got dinged so hard when he not only screwed around, but paid for the privilege. In fact, he was sending people up the river for this very behavior when he was attorney general.


    So the theory that holier than thous get hammered harder holds more water than the crap Rudy's talking.
