An airman most likely training to be a member of the Air Force Security Forces volunteers to get Tasered and inadvertently invites one of her trainers to share in her pain.

The childlike joy of America's Free Comic Book Day became a violent drama of assault and police firing taser guns when two costumed characters were attacked by a 300-pound drunken monster outside a comics shop in Portland, Maine, on Saturday.

Almost two years after beating a stunned and unresponsive suspect in a public park, three Connecticut cops were finally placed on "desk duty" yesterday after footage of the attack had been made public.

This video, shot on July 5 by a student in Fullerton, California, ostensibly features the sounds of 37-year-old Kelly Thomas crying for his father while being Tased by police officers after he supposedly resisted arrest. Thomas was also beaten so badly that he was placed on life support. He died several days later.

Though proven to be an effective and totally safe way to subdue "disrespectful" youths, Tasering might not always be appropriate—for example, when the youth in question is disabled and maybe not trying to be disrespectful at all. Just a thought!
