Tavi is the bomb. She probably does have some adult help with the blog, but then look at all the other kids who get their parents to help with their projects; what do they come up with? "Pigeon breeds of Brooklyn" science fair projects.

It was hilarious watching her and Fake Karl Lagerfeld have their flirtation on Twitter a few months ago.

I've been reading her blog for a few months - my husband's cousin pointed me to it when Tavi posted a rap about going to H&M for the release of the Commes de Garcon line. She is everything I wish I was when I was 13. The best is when she "discovers" something that us old folks have known about for years...like Harold and Maude or Grunge music.

Wow look at Wall Street Journal being on the cusp of year old information.

She's great, her sites amazing and I wish I had been about 25% as cool as Tavi as a kid. She's sort of like a real life Clarissa and I like that.

This was always the stuff I wanted to wear as a kid... mix the plaids up - wear fun, funky shoes that I dusted with sparkles. My mother wouldn't let me out the door with any of it. Now I just wear the Johnny Cash Collection. Thanks Mom. See you in therapy.

My first thought when I looked at her blog was "hmm, this looks suspiciously like fashiontoast. And then, lo and behold, those boots are listed in the caption as "gifts from rumi," with a link to...fashiontoast. How on Earth do all these people know/meet each other?

normally i hate almost anything related to the high-fashion world (insert whatever reasons you want here, from the fact that i am myself a snobby snob to the fact that i am a poor) but, after perusing this girl's blog, i can say that i like her. so dorky! so enthusiastic! she's like the antithesis of all that is wrong with the fashion world. i say she should just do her own zine and rule them all with an iron fist.
