    Whenever I see tourists in those pedicabs I think, you have no idea how close they come to getting killed each and every night. I've been in cabs that threaten them all the time. Idiots drive those things and idiots ride in them.

    JFTR - statistically, one of the safest places to be in NYC is in a horse-drawn carriage.
    We have NEVER had a human fatality, and only 3 equine fatalities in more than 30 years.
    Just sayin'.
