    @raincoaster: My most recent memory of what a "puma" is comes from the past presidential election. "Pumas" were women voters who (for the most part) jumped ship from the Democratic Party when Hilary didn't get the nomination or the VP spot. "Party Unity, My Ass" equals "puma." At least initially, the pumas all ran toward Caribou Barbie on the GOP ticket as if she were some sort of snowbilly savior. Which makes it all the more weird that Demi actually wants to be called a puma. #russellbrand

    Am I wrong, or isn't it against the law to tape conversations without letting the other party know that they are being taped? I really think we should take any reason to jail Michael Lohan and run with it. #carrieprejean

    @Ack: it depends what state you are in while taping. Some states require both parties to know about the taping, some only one. It's also okay to tape if the person being taped was in a public place. #carrieprejean

    @themediatrix: I thought there was a federal law that prohibited the recording of phone conversations without both parties knowledge (unless there is a wire-tapping warrant) and it was not a state-by-state issue. Of course, I only think that because of the law at issue in my law-school moot court competition from 1996 and that was a long time ago... #carrieprejean

    @themediatrix: Yeah, I googled this an hour or so ago and it pulled up this link. I'm glad to read that explanation of the law because I have been completely misinformed until now.

    Legal or not, what kind of father tapes conversations with his kids and then tries to sell them? What a terrible betrayal. The reasons for Lohan's drug habit and general craziness become more apparent by the day. #carrieprejean

    @thingsbehindthesun: Mostly I'm curious because if there wasn't anyone else there, it would mean she A) made a sex tape of herself, for herself, which is just the saddest, most egotistical thing I've ever heard, and B) most definitely was the one responsible for releasing the tape to the world. #carrieprejean
