Ha, you haven't lived until you've seen the Year with the Queen documentary, which (among many other things) depicts her photographing Elizabeth. The People article is true, she did not walk out after being allegedly insulted by Leibovitz, but she did stand up and walk out when the allotted half hour time slot was finished. "[Fashion stylist Nicoletta] Santoro billed Leibovitz $6,000 a day, plus a 20 percent agency fee, plus expenses.

"On one invoice, Santoro billed $62,943 for work on a July 13, 2007 shoot for Disney Parks featuring tennis player Roger Federer dressed up as King Arthur. That included two half travel days, four prep days, one shoot day, $12,477 for the wardrobe, $5,000 for an assistant, $1,027 in car service, plus the agency fee and other expenses."

The fashion assistant makes almost $1,000 per day, and it's Liebovitz who's overpaid? Yes, she should take care of her bills... but, geez.

Horrible woman. When she came to photograph me, she had this outlandish "Catherine The Great" concept, and came with a groomed horse she thought I might fancy. She wasn't wrong, but her suggestion about where I might insert the carrot was just too much, and I stormed out. It's not my fault the dogs were unleashed after that, the lawyers are still hashing it out.

I just took a picture of that Annie pic on my cell phone camera and sent it to my email and then I copied and pasted the pic and put it on my Facebook profile and then I erased my Facebook profile and took a picture of Annie herself in person myself and burned it.

Annie Leibovitz hires unpaid interns from Harvard College each year and according to those interns is supposed to be a complete nightmare to work for (my friends who interned for her told me they even had to mop the floors of the photography studio each night).

The Harvard Lampoon even included a humorous sketch on how awful it could be.

(Then there is all the damage that the work she had done on her West Village brownstone did to all of the surrounding buildings...she was successfully sued by the City of NYC and I remember she dragged her feet on ponying up the money.)

@Bring It On: Yeah, I recently hung out with someone who worked in her household, and even if Harvard students should be made to mop floors (this is indisputable), it sounded like Annie was a crazy tyrant control freak when it came to just about everything.

The damage she did to that brownstone was BRUTAL. I remember going to my friend's house (one of the houses that was affected by her construction aka breaking a water main) and how shitty it looked for the longest time. I couldn't believe that anyone with that much money could have hired such idiots to not know where the pipes were.
