Obama Won Because You're Stupid |

Trust me, we all saw the drooling goons at the McCain/Palin torch ceremonies.

I'm just sayin'...

You forgot mention many did not know that Obama thought there were 57 states in the U.S.
The reason Obama won was because a good part of his voting base was not educated. In California, many who spoke ONLY Spanish came in, with children, who were telling them how to vote. One non speaking English man went to an elections official and asked him which candidate was the "black man." Yep, they all got to vote, though ten to one, were not even citizens of the U.S. Someone registered non speaking illegals in California...that is how Obama won.
11/18/08
That's the point. ANY winner would have a defacto uneducated voting base.

Yeah, I'm terrified of that buffoon Joe Biden becoming president as well:

Calling Joe a rag isn't very nice. It was his own words after all.
You should go have a beer with Joe at Kate's Restaurant.

In other words, has not been right about anything, ever.

not only do you insist on citing thoroughly illegitimate sources, but like the original poster, your use of the language suggests that you're in no position to be critiquing the eduaction level of any other voters. "mistaken" would be the word you wanted there.

Either way, what isn't open for debate, is that Joe has a long history of being a mendacious buffoon. Could someone please defend the comments he made about Katie's Restaurant, the US kicking Hezbollah out of Lebanon, or the little diatribe he launched against that guy mentioned in the article above?

Oh, that's right, Reagan was President. He made the 283 murdered marines disappear by invading Grenada. Carry on, water carrier, carry on.

Welcome back, Pareene.

Obama won, you say? Our country has an idiot majority.
What's that? McCain won? Our country has an idiot majority.
Hmmm? A toasted cheese sandwich won? Surprise... we're still mostly idiots.
Doesn't change anything.

Which is irrelevant, I suppose. I just really like grilled cheese.

If I were Obama's speechwriter, I'd challenge America to hold Obama responsible for his actions they way they didn't for Bush. But in return, America needs to pick up a newspaper and spend their 'American Idol' time to learn about the issues. You don't need to agree with him, but dammit, at least know what the conversation is about.

1. Did you know that McCain graduated in the very bottom of his class at the Naval Academy...a place he only got in because of who his daddy and granddaddy were?
2. Did you know that Sarah Palin changed schools 5 times in 4 years during college? Seriously. Can someone ask her about that. It blows my mind because I can't figure out WHY she did it...
3. Did you know that John McCain voted AGAINST making Martin Luther King Day a federal holiday in Arizona?

1) Class rank included demerits for insubordination, uniforms violations etc. McCain was in the "Century Club' of 100+ demerits, which dragged his grades down.
2) Palin graduated with honors. Reasons for changing schools could range from finding better financial aid deals at other schools to being recruited by their basketball teams. Her transcripts followed her and her grades were excellent.
3) The rationale was that there weren't many black people in Arizona and Arizona never had Jim Crow laws etc. This story is actually a Bush campaign 'smear' dating back to his 2000 campaign

1. You're defending his horrible grades by saying that it was because he was an insubordinate asshole bad soldier? HIGH-LARIOUS! Next thing you know you'll be giving people alibis for bank robberies by saying that there were elsewhere murdering people.
2. I like how you have no idea but speculated the most unlikely scenarios. Also, she went to some pretty shitty schools and had an easy major so her grades being "excellent" is a little relative...also, I've never even heard of her grades being excellent. Guess it didn't make the liberal biased news (or Fox...).
3. It's not a SMEAR when it's the absolute 100% non-biased truth. And you're absolutely wrong, he said he voted against it because federal holidays COST the state money and he felt that more Presidents should be honored instead. The fact remains that he didn't feel that MLK was good enough for a holiday. And he has since APOLOGIZED for that HUGE error in judgment. You probably should, too.

@JinxyMcDeath :
Actually, the whole Jack Ryan / Seven of Nine thing was his Senate election. His first election was to state legislature, where he managed to disqualify his opponents
11/18/08
I think it actually refers to his run for state senate, when Obama's campaign petitioned that his opponent didn't actually live in the district. Barry won and the rest is history... suckas!
11/18/08
11/18/08
Well, no. He didn't "manage to disqualify his opponents."
11/18/08
11/18/08
My apologies: I meant "successfully challenged the validity of his opponent's nominating petitions"

Not so sure Canada won, anyway - wait until he tries to hit us on NAFTA, especially now with the problems in the auto industry.
11/18/08
Also, there's no amount of protectionism that's going to save the auto industry as long as Americans aren't buying cars.
11/18/08
Ah but it's about keeping manufacturing jobs in the US - not having them up in Ontario.
Either way, GM is screwed, as you say.
