What I've heard from her campaign so far has been intensely stupid. It's basically, "I'm a businessperson, so I will know how to run government better." This in a state that's very, very aware of the Enron debacle and what it cost us. Yeah, Meg, businesspeople do everything better, including fuck over our state. Try again.
@MissNormaDesmond: That appears to be her platform. The I'm-sort-of-okay-with-gays-and-abortion-but-let's-deregulate-everything-and-let-the-free-market-work-because-businesses-can-do-no-wrong platform. You can't run in California without being somewhat socially moderate, but her economic policies won't do anything to help the state. What California really needs is to repeal Proposition 13, but that'll never happen.
@anonymousryan: Amen. What no Republican will ever talk about in this state is that prior to Prop. 13 we were leading the nation in several major economic areas, including having the best educational system. Prop. 13 isn't the sole cause of our problems, but it's a huge one. Instead, Whitman does the tired, "The politicians' only answer is to tax us more, and we know that doesn't work." Whether or not we know that, we know very well that taxing us less doesn't work, either, Meg, so how about you come up with some genuinely new ideas instead of this stupid crap you're peddling?
@MissNormaDesmond: Yeah, but have you seen her feedback rating? She's a goddamned flashing purple star with rainbow tracers shooting from it! Doesn't that count for anything?
@ngoandy: To be fair to Ms. Palin, I think never voting is much worse than never traveling abroad. Besides, you're forgetting Sarah's extensive psychic powers, which enabled her to see the entire world.
@AndPreciousLittleofThat: Can you even imagine if this was a Democratic candidate who had never even been registered to vote until age 46?!? He or she would be out of the race faster than you can say "Unpatriotic socialist Muslim terrorist."
did you add that "not that he's *doing* steroids, just something he should avoid" bit because your lawyers told you you'd get suited for slander otherwise?
Whoa... that's some kind of arrested development. Where are his hind quarters? He lost his ass somewhere in the building, which will prime him for empathy when he muscles thru the ad dept.

Was her mom too? She went to China in the 70's. Or was she a covert ping pong operative? There is a Margaret Goodhue (maiden name) here. Related?

Sarah Palin didn't have a passport until recently, even though she could see Russia from her home.
The Republicans sure pick winners.
