I started reading Defamer for the humor and wit and funny comments from the bright snarkettes, but I became a fan because, beneath all the sarcasm, there was excellence, a genuine and pure love of movies, keen intelligence and--yeah--compassion. Don't think I didn't notice the last one.
Seth, you beautifully wore the enormous shoes left by Lisanti (what is it they say about shoe size? Lisanti--*call me*). I can't add any more superlatives than those already noted here. So I'll just say, well done. Classy to the end. So glad I'll be able to read more of you soon.
And to the other snarkettes, you made Defamer a community. I may be relatively new to you, but I've been a fan of yours for years, too. I look forward to more of your comments at the new digs.
