Aw, this is sad. I LIVED at the Cutting Room from like 2000-2003. Knew everyone who worked there but gave Noth his space (the one time I decided to say hi he was an ASSHOLE). Not sorry for him, but for everyone else. Most of my pals have moved on but there were usually very cool people working there.

Oh, and Noth's girlfriend is a rather ambiguous Asian type -- perhaps Filipina, or Hawaiian... ? Possible that she's half-black but definitely not "black."

It's on W. 25th, right? That's not Midtown, that's Flatiron - although it has self-identified as Chelsea. Anyway, I saw Joan Rivers there about a month ago, and she was amazing, as always. There are fewer and fewer of these cabaret venues left in this town.

@HK_Guy: 24th near 6th Avenue, which means it's could equally well be called Flatiron or Chelsea, and strictly speaking it's midtown as well (i.e., between 14th and 59th Streets.)

Saw Jessye Normous at this venue just a couple weeks ago; nice, friendly place.

Isn't this the former black model with whom he currently has a child? If so, they're definitely still together. I always found it strange that the media really played down their relationship at the height of the show's popularity despite SJP's marriage to Matthew Broderick was always prominent.
