This is the first time I've had a friend on a reality tv show.

There are LOTS of people I've screwed who have been on reality tv (MTV's the real world in particular) but never before an actual friend!

Does Mizrahi even have anything going on of his own anymore?

I thought he had gone down the same path as John Bartlett and Todd Oldham to complete obscurity. (Poor Todd is working as a sales person at the Daffy's at the corner of 46th Street and Sixth Avenue.)

@CrazySexyCool: Isaac has stopped doing the Target line and has a line out with Liz Claiborne (where Tim Gunn is the chief creative officer). He also still has his own eponymous pret a porter line.

@Kitten_Witawip: Yes, I think it's just the last few pieces on clearance (though that kind of reach must be hard to give up). I read at its peak his line sold $300 million a year for them!

I will be watching tonight and look forward to the recap and/or evisceration to follow. (I am assuming there's no liveblog, considering Hippity is in London trying to kill Toby).

@MyrtleWilloughby: I actually love Isaac, he is a sweetheart and I adore his real enthusiasms..he's a treasure.

But I think his mercurial enthusiasms are ill-suited to filling Tim's shoes in this way.

Tim was pedagogical, we love him for his fairness, diplomacy, and even kindness to the designers on PR. He was rooting for them, when deserved, and even sometimes when not. We love Tim because he was always fair.

"Love it!/Hate it!" is not the same thing. We'll see.

I'm not that excited for Lifetime's Project Runway after seeing the final runway pictures released last month. But I'm sure I will become a rabid fan after just two airings, even though I initially hated it. That's the same way I feel about all of Britney Spears' songs.
