    I cried at seeing just the trailer for Precious, and I was well prepared for the content as I had read the book. I dunno if I can watch the whole movie without turning into a puddle of tears. #themenwhostareatgoats

    @filthy tongue: I opted out of seeing it at a festival for that very reason--like I need to be seen blubbering uncontrollably in public by people I know? I'll wait for a matinee full of strangers.

    I saw The Men Who Stare at Goats at a film festival. Huge disappointment. Your cause for concern nailed it, Richard. One joke stretched out over two hours of hit-you-over-the-head, broad, zany, tedious permutations. #themenwhostareatgoats
